SmallFires001: A Sound Design Project
A downloadable game
SmallFires
is a very short first-person experience about isolation, sound, and the spaces between movement.
(Use headphones for the best experience.)
Explore dimly lit halls, follow the echo of your own footsteps, and piece together what’s left in the silence.
Built in Unity as a small atmosphere study — minimal HUD, no dialogue, just ambient design and exploration.
The focus was on experimenting with footstep systems, surface-based audio, and how spatial sound changes a player’s sense of presence.
It’s not meant to be a full game — more of a playable sound environment where movement, silence, and space all matter.
